Connecticut will fund $270 million of the cost for the link between New Haven and Springfield. Massachusetts needs to come up with $30 million to make it happen. | I am about to write my email to Representative Wagner. I am just going to say that I live in Springfield and I think funding the commuter link from Springfield to New Haven is a good idea. This should stimulate retail and restaurant business downtown and throughout the area and of course give Springfield area residents access to Connecticut jobs. This plan also has fuel saving and carbon emission reduction benefits. |
